My Story
Hi. I’m Sarah Marshall, a British copywriter living in Spain since 2004.
Writing copy to help women like you grow your business is what lights me up.
And if I’ve got a cup of tea and a biccie to hand, well, so much the better.
But you probably want to know a little more about me than that, so here goes.
Dreaming big from rural roots
I live with my Catalan partner, our two daughters and a cat called Tali in Olesa de Bonesvalls, a small village tucked away in the mountains about 45 minutes from Barcelona. We love being at home but also travelling to new and familiar places, especially Crewkerne, the small town in Somerset, England where I grew up.
That’s why I love working with women service providers in the South West of England and across the UK. You keep me connected to my roots. And with women in Barcelona province, Catalonia and across Spain, my adopted home. Though I’m happy to work with women across Europe and North America, too!
When we work together, you’ll usually find me here at home in Olesa, dreaming big for you and your business.
The winding path to purpose
I lived in three cities and had a variety of jobs in the private and public sectors before I found my place in the world and translation found me. But, wouldn’t you know it, all those experiences give me a deep well to draw from in my work.
After 15 years as a freelance translator, copywriting called to me. My creative and logical brain loves playing with words with purpose and it was time to start writing the content myself. My spirit loves the challenge and freedom of running my own business.
Best of all, this work allows me to help women like you thrive as well.

Why primarily female focused?
I’m a money feminist. The gender pay gap still puts us at a disadvantage in our present earnings, investing potential and future pensions. By giving your business engaging and effective copy, I hope to play a small part in helping you reach your money goals and achieve financial peace of mind.
Plus, as a long-term solopreneur and domestic CEO, I relate to other women who are trying to do it all.
In 2023 I finally learned to ask for help from other professional women
to take my business to the next level.
I began investing in my brand identity, working with a coach and paying for a cleaner. Great money decisions that free up time, give me clarity in my business and allow me to flourish in my zone of genius.
My goal is to make your life easier so you spend less time worrying about your copy and have more time to focus on your core business.
What’s your story?
I’d love to hear where you are in your business and life right now so I can help you create strategic content that reflects your own story and values.
Tell me your dreams for your services and products. Let’s work together to connect with more of your ideal clients and grow your business in your own unique way.
So, whether you need effective web copy, blog posts that boost your website traffic and attract your ideal clients or persuasive emails to promote your offers, I’m here to help.

Sarah made it clear that I needed to be clearer on my Home page! It was useful to see what content to place where. She took what seemed like a lot of information in one place and showed me how to split it up. I’d definitely recommend her Copy Clinic.
