Questions
Still searching for answers?
I know the feeling.
Hopefully I can lead you out of the wilderness
– at least in this context – with answers to these common queries.
General
What’s your phone number?
While I’m working on your project, you’ll have my full creative attention. I schedule certain time slots for phone calls, which is why I prefer not to give my number on the website.
I know you’re busy too, so I don’t ask for your phone number in my contact form either.
You can book a call with me or fill out a form. Both links are at the bottom of this page.
What happens after I send the contact form?
When you send the form, you’ll see a confirmation message and then I’ll get back to you within 24 working hours.
Do you only work with women?
No, I work with anyone who wants to sell more in their authentic brand voice.
What’s your payment policy?
For first-time or larger copywriting and translation projects, I ask for partial payment up front. Once we’ve agreed on the scope and the fee, I’ll send you the initial invoice.
When the project has been completed, I’ll send the invoice for the remainder.
For smaller copywriting and translation projects, payment is due on completion.
For regular and/or retainer clients, I send an invoice at the end of each month.
Payments can be made by bank transfer. In Spain, payments can also be made by Bizum.
All payments are associated with an invoice.
Do you only accept euros or can I pay in pounds or dollars?
You can pay me in pounds, euros or U.S. dollars, whichever suits you best.
Copywriting
What’s the difference between copywriting and content writing?
Often the terms are used interchangeably, but content can be purely for entertainment, information or education purposes.
With copywriting the focus is always on guiding people to take a specific action.
Actions ranging from subscribing to your newsletter, following you on Instagram, contacting you or making that all-important decision to buy.
But, of course, it can also entertain, inform and educate along the way!
What are your copywriting rates?
Writing the actual copy is sandwiched between plenty of research and plenty of editing, which is why I don’t charge a rate per word for copywriting.
I do have some standard rates for certain packages, which you can find on the Copywriting and Copy Clinic pages.
However, I can create a unique proposal just for you as well and the cost will depend on the format, length, urgency and complexity of the project.
Do you write copy in Spanish or Catalan?
No, is the short answer.
I was a translator for 15 years and I firmly believe that your content should be written by a native person or translated or corrected by a professional. So, while I can communicate well in Spanish and Catalan, English is where my writing skills shine.
However, I can make your Spanish or Catalan website content more strategic. You can see details of this service on the Copy Clinic (link at the end of the next section).
And remember, if you’re thinking of producing copy in more than one language, you’ll have the benefit of working with a copywriter with plenty of translation experience.
Copy Clinic
How do I pay for Copy Clinic?
For both Copy Clinic options, you pay half up front and half after the strategy report is delivered.
Is Copy Clinic available for Spanish or Catalan content?
Yes. The strategies for great copy are relevant to all languages.
I’d be happy to help review your current content, whether it’s digital, print or communications.
